When the postman makes my day

Today I found 12 postcards in my mailbox, I was like a child on the 25th of December lol..

The first one is from Andorra (actually mailed from Spain), it shows the Llac dels Pessons (I couldn't find any info about it). Andorra is a micro state between France and Spain and, with an area of 468 square kilometers and a population of 84082, it is the 6th smallest country in Europe.  Its capital, Andorra la Vella, is the highest capital city in Europe, being at an elevation of 1023 metres. The official language is Catalan, although Spanish, Portuguese, and French are also commonly spoken.

Second one is from Finland and it shows some autumnal scenes.

On the back there was a lovely brail stamp..

This postcard of Póvoa de Varzim (Portugal) was sent to me from my portuguese panpal in Belgium. This town is situated around 30km north of Oporto. It is one of the few gambling areas in Portugal, and has significant textile and food industries. The town has a rich seafood cuisine, and retains ancient customs such as the writing system of siglas poveiras and the masseira farming technique.

The Bouquinistes of Paris are booksellers of used and antiquarian books who ply their trade along large sections of the banks of the Seine: on the right bank from the Pont Marie to the Quai du Louvre, and on the left bank from the Quai de la Tournelle to Quai Voltaire. The Seine is thus described as 'the only river in the world that runs between 2 bookshelves'.

Cartoon map card of Spain.. It shows the 17 Autonomous communities.

This is one is from Dresden (Germany). In the first picture there is the Zwinger, in the 2nd one the Frauenkirche, in the 3rd one the Elbpanorama and in the last one the Semperoper.

This is a painting of Alighiero Boetti called "Mappa" (the Italian for map).. it is dated 1990.

This really made my day. I LOVE it! Thank you to duplevista (Just postcard RR) that sent me this postcard from London. I love London! As you can see it shows the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.

This postcard is from The Netherlands and it shows the typical Dutch windmill. I really like it!

This one is from Andrychów, which is the largest town in Wadowice County in southern Poland. Anna, the sender, wrote on the back some basic words in Polish:
Witaj - hello
Mam na imię - my name is
Mieszkam w... - I live in..
ja - I
ty/wy - you

Again a postcard from Spain. It show the Murallas in Alcala de Henares. This is an Unesco World Heritage Site.

Thank you so much to Captain Soul who made an offer on the postcrossing forum. He's sending a free postcard from the States to everyone who asks for it. He sent me a nice postcard from New Orleans with nice stamps on the back.

These are the stamps:

Last one is from Barcelona

And it is all for today!
